Autumn in Faralee

For The Forest of Faralee, when the season turns to autumn, the leaves change color from green, to red/yellow/orange/purple. They fall down with the wind and rain normally, and when they do, they stay on the ground, until the very  last one falls. When the last one falls the forest senses it, and during that night the magic of the forest puts the leaves all back on the trees, with all their vibrant colors still. They stay there all winter, and even when there's huge gusts of wind and intense snowstorms, the leaves do not leave the trees. When the time comes in spring for new ones to grow, they suddenly disappear during the night once again, leaving time and room for new ones to grow. The leaves start to change colors in the month of Windfall, sometimes late Brightfrost. (See earlier post) Pictures of the leaves in the Forest of Faralee down below. Beautiful leaves up above. A secret path in the woods. A leaf that has fallen.

Sam's bow

Sam's longbow and quiver with some arrows he uses, lying on the forest floor. His arrows usually have yellow fletching, so these are not specifically his. Just ones he has to use at some point. (Sam Rejes is the main character in the books.) See the post called "Samuel Valor Rejes" to learn more about him and his life.

Fanor Aster Cenner

Fanor is a young elf living in the Forest of Faralee. His family is nothing special, they're just normal elves living in the city. The only thing relatively unique about the Cenners is that they're good friends with the elves' Warrior's Master, Emo Eellee. Fanor is a warrior's apprentice and is a quick learner when it comes to fighting, whether it's with his fists or his sword and shield. The Warrior branch that he trains in is called the Lion. (You can see the post about the guilds to see what that means.) One of Fanor's best friends is Noriel Deckrien, the two grew up together and he has known her for a very long time. But when Sam and Sophie enter Faralee, Fanor immediately becomes great friends with Sam, and soon over time, with Sophie as well. In Fanor's first year training as a warrior he went exploring in some caves on the coast of Faralee, and in one of the caves he had found a special sword. The sword was a normal steel sword, but also magical. ...

Sophia Rose Rejes

Sophie is the younger twin sister of Samuel Rejes, who is the main character in the Forest of Faralee book. She is sixteen years old, and has lived on the streets of the city Clapcot in the country Ellmathaw with her brother since she was 8. Her parents died in a fire at their house when she was 8 and ever since then Sophie has been able to summon fire. For nine years whenever she was upset she would have seizures and fire would shoot from her hands and eyes etc. Engulfing and burning everything around her. That was until she and Sam enter the Forest of Faralee and they discover that she is a burner , the branch in the wizard guild that controls fire. It is very rare for humans to be able to wield magic, so many things about Sophie are mysterious. Such as why can she wield magic?  That is something she has yet to find out herself... As soon as she and her brother enter the forest, she becomes instant best friends with one of the elven princesses, that's, Princess Carla Dane.  ...
