Thick snowflakes fell down from the cloudy sky, as four figures, all dressed in black trudged through the knee deep snow. Two of the people were tall, clearly adults, while the other two were very short. Young children by the looks of it, "Where are we going?" asked one of the children in a high pitched voice that marked it as a girl. The girl tripped and fell into a deep snow drift, the adult figures didn't even turn to help her, but kept on walking. It was the other child that helped her up and brushed the snow off her wool cloak.
"You shall see soon" came a raspy voice from the hood of the tallest person. "I want to go home" the girl said, shivering from the freezing weather in the blizzard, even though she new her home was to far away to go back to. "Be quiet, we are almost there" the adult that had not spoken yet snapped. "Almost where?' asked the other child, by the voice this one was a boy, not much older than the young girl. There was no answer from either of the adults, only the sound of the howling wind.
The boy fell, this time into a deeper drift, his head disappeared underneath the snow. "Kinz!" shouted the young girl. "Mom please you have to get him back". The adults finally stopped, without hesitating one of them jumped into the drift. He appeared moments later with the boy, Kinz in his arms the man set him down, and they continued walking not giving Kinz any time to regain his breath.
"Are you alright?' the girl asked him, Kinz scowled at her. "I'm fine, just leave me alone" he replied, despite not being able to see his face, by his height he looked to be not even seven years old. He brushed past her, and they followed the other people, after a while they all halted. "We are here at last" came the raspy voice.
In front of them was a huge rock wall, a mountain really, and in the wall a few steps away was a door. Not made out of wood. No. This door was a part of the mountain with white markings of things the girl couldn't understand all over it, the only thing that marked it as a door was a small black key hole in the center of it. "Where?. What is this place?" the girl asked.
"Deathlight" her mother answered.

On every Friday, unless I am busy I will post stories
like this. They will be about the mysterious young girl in
