Fantastical Faralee

Samuel Valor Rejes is the main character in the Forest Of Faralee series, he is a human boy that is sixteen years old in the first book. He is tall for his age with short curly dark brown hair, and blue eye's the color of the ocean, with a small amount of freckles on his nose, and dimples on his cheeks. His twin sister is Sophia Rejes , the siblings are very close, because when they were eight years old their parents died in a fire, so for nine years all they had was one another. They live in the streets of Clapcot city, (capitol of the land Ellmathaw ). Sam steals food and, hunts illegally in the King's Woods to keep he and Sophia alive. As soon as Sam enters Faralee, the realm of the elves he feels a strange sense of belonging, and like he was coming home. At the end of the first book he becomes a scout's apprentice, as he has a natural skill with a bow, and has been hunting sense he was nine.  Sam is deathly scared of fire because he was there when his parents died, and ...

Clangs echoed through the cavern, as two figures covered in black clothes circled each other, swords pointed towards one another. "Keep your sword up!" a clear voice shouted above the noise, the voice did not come from one of the figures but somewhere in the corners of the cavern where there was no light. One of the figures charged at the other, and they clashed together, the way they moved they were both obviously girls. The girl who had charged knocked the other's sword clear out of her hand and it skidded across the cave floor. "Stay focused!" came the voice again, "Hold on" the girl without the sword shot back, she dove to the side towards the sword. She snatched the sword while in a summersault and stood holding it high above her cloaked head. A laugh could be heard from her hood as she did it "You won't win" the other girl said snarling. "Come at me than" the first girl mocked her, with a yell the other charged, the first ...

The girl ran blindly through the dark forest, branches and weeds whipped her face and arms hard. Tears sprang down from her eyes, and fell down onto the dead leaves underneath her feet, as the cowl of her cloak flew off her head, and blond hair flew out behind her. A horn sounded behind her, loud and clear, this is it thought the girl. They're going to catch me, and it will all have been for nothing . The hunt was coming after her not far behind, she had to leave after seeing what her family truly was, what they all stood for...What she had stood for. The sixteen year old girl reached a dark valley, and ran down it, waiting at the bottom of it was a pool of dark water. The Shadowmoon. She crouched down, placing her hand, palm down on the cold black water, it rippled underneath her touch and a wispy black horse leaped out of the water. The horses red eyes flickered from the bright fire inside them, Sorcerer , was the horses name. He was a shadowspirit, made from pure shadows. ...

Darkness surrounded the young girl as she ran through the cavern, kicking up dust behind her, the girl was young only the age of seven. She felt the ground move underneath her bare feet, as snakes and spiders scattered, the girl finally stopped to catch her breath. She looked around in fear, her glowing green eyes wide, "Ma da?" she called "Where are you?", there was no comforting answer in the blackness only the squeal of bats. The child shuddered and collapsed to the ground, one thing she hated was bats. All she remembered was her mother telling her it would be alright, than a rough voice had said "Its time", than darkness... Tears streamed down her cheeks, she was alone. Utterly alone. Choking on tears the girl recalled her mom drilling into her, never to cry because it was weak. Furiously she wiped the tears off her face, there was a rustling noise like a creature coming towards her, she shut her eyes tight and pinched her arm, hoping that it was all j...
